Typically results last three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth and skin type. Regular appointments can slow regrowth and produce finer hair. Follow our post-wax care to extend smoothness and reduce ingrown hairs or irritation.

You may experience brief discomfort during hair removal, but our warm honey wax and gentle technique minimize pain. We offer soothing pre- and post-wax treatments, tips to reduce sensitivity, and can pause if you need a break.

Active sunburn, open wounds, severe eczema, recent chemical peels, or active rashes may require postponement. Inform your therapist about medications, retinoids, or skin treatments so we can advise alternatives or reschedule safely.

Gently exfoliate 48 hours before your appointment and ensure hair is about a quarter inch long. Avoid tanning, heavy creams, and retinoids. Arrive clean and hydrated; this helps the wax adhere better and reduces irritation.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, intense exercise, and sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Use a calming post-wax serum, wear breathable clothing, and exfoliate lightly after 48–72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs and maintain smooth skin.

We recommend stopping topical retinoids 7–14 days before waxing to lower the risk of skin lifting and irritation. Always inform your therapist about prescription products; consult your dermatologist if unsure before booking.
